On October 3rd, the Board of the Zeta Psi Alumni Assn. reviewed the Building Committee's recommendations regarding the reconstruction project. Three facility upgrades were considered: 1) renovation of the existing building, 2) razing of the existing structure and the creation of an entirely new building, and 3) renovation with a new addition. After reviewing the feasibilty report, the Board voted unanimously to proceed with option 3. (19-0 with three board members not present).

A rendering depicting a view of the proposed improvements was presented, along with sets of floorplans. It was agreed to move ahead over the winter months to meet zoning and engineering requirements, anticipating ground-breaking sometime in early summer.

The floorplans and representations should not be construed to be the final design, much may change in the months ahead as the project planners meet with various entities of the College and Town of Hanover, and finer details are hashed out. The Board will meet again in 2008 to approve the final design prior to the beginning of reconstruction.
